Jusan IT specialists teach coding to rural children
Jusan IT specialists held another free programming intensive in Yesik, Almaty Oblast, as a continuation of the Auyl.Go project initiated by employees and financially supported by our bank.
This time another 15 secondary school students took part in the training.
The co-organiser of the project Kairat Sadykov, a specialist at the Jusan Digital Products Department, said that the project is aimed at expanding opportunities to unleash children's talents, access to a profession in demand and training in practical skills in the specialty:
‘We introduce schoolchildren to IT specialties and the culture of large tech companies, and the prospects of the IT profession. At the training, they learn the basics of programming and even create their own websites. We want to show that the IT profession is a real social lift for children from villages, and it's not that difficult. As many people think,’ he says.
As a result of the training, students receive certificates of initial programming course completion. As a reminder, earlier graduates of the Auyl.Go programming school from Karasaz, Almaty Oblast, and Talapty, Zhambyl Oblast, created websites for their native villages and schools following their training.
