Jusan Bank updated its mobile application

Jusan Bank presented an updated mobile app, in which it simplified the client's way to frequently used services, as well as introduced a number of services that have no analogues in the Kazakhstan market.

As Alexander Uzdiaev, Managing Director for Retail and Volume Business Product Development at Jusan Bank, said at the presentation, the deep redesign of the application was carried out in close cooperation with users. Bank representatives spent 143 hours interviewing 120 respondents who shared their vision of an ideal banking application.

After six months and more than half a million lines of code, the bank released a virtually new application.
One of the app's main innovations is the “Important Events” personalized recommendations and reminders service.

“Respondents confirmed our hypothesis that due to the huge number of push notifications from banking and many other mobile apps, users stop paying attention to them. Notifications are either turned off or accumulated messages are simply marked “read”. In this information noise among notifications about transactions, promotions and so on we sometimes miss really important events, for example, the need to make a payment on a loan, pay a fine or tax, pick up a paid order from a store,” says A. Uzdiaev.

In response to this request of users the bank has developed a service, which directly on the main page of the application will remind about the invoices for payment, will not let you forget about the upcoming movie or flight, will tell you that it is time to choose new categories for purchases with increased bonuses or replenish the balance of the phone.

Another unique for Kazakhstan financial market service, introduced by Jusan Bank, is called “Total budget”. The new product allows the owner of a bank account to open access to it for other users, for example, family members. Having such an account, on which interest is accrued, saves its owner from the need to constantly withdraw money from the deposit, transfer it to a card to send transfers to relatives and friends. Family members can independently use the account according to the limits set by its owner.

Among other notable innovations, the representative of Jusan Bank named a new service “Quick transactions”, which displays regularly performed transactions on the main page of the application, allowing to make these payments or transfers literally in one or two touches.

Finally, the developers of the Jusan app have introduced a “General history” service so that users can see in one place the history of all their transactions, be it card transactions, account transactions, payments, transfers, deposit interest accruals or loan repayments.

“Being able to see all their spending in one place gives the user a sense of awareness and therefore peace of mind about their financial well-being,” concluded a Jusan Bank spokesperson.
