June 20, 2022, Almaty city. The Instant Payment System was launched in Kazakhstan. Jusan Bank was one of the first to join the system and enable its clients to make quick transfers to other banks.
The Instant Payment System (IPS) is a service that allows for instant transfers and payments in the national currency using a mobile phone. Now clients of different banks do not need to ask for card number or other details. The service is available on the Jusan mobile app 24/7.
Gabit Nurkenov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Jusan Bank, noted that the innovation shall allow the Kazakhstanis not to limit themselves in money transfer transactions. ‘For the benefit of our clients, we put aside the matters of competition so as to offer the most convenient solutions for personal finances. Such a consolidation, and not merely from the ‘commercial bank — fintech company’ perspective, but also between the banks themselves is a very important and significant milestone in the development of domestic financial services,’ commented Gabit Nurkenov.
In order to make a transfer, one should log in to the Bank mobile app, go to ‘Transfers’ section and select ‘Transfers by Mobile Phone Number.’ And then enter the beneficiary phone number, transfer amount and beneficiary bank.
